Juan Pablo Montoya will race in his final Busch Series event next week at Watkins Glen, then the team will stop competing.

Chip Ganassi Racing officials said Wednesday the No. 42 Busch program was formed only to help Montoya adjust to NASCAR after six seasons in Formula One. He drove the car to a win in March on the road course in Mexico City, and will try for another one in Watkins Glen, N.Y., next Saturday.

It seems you need more than three Formula One titles to be considered a good driver in Brazil.

Former race car driver Nelson Piquet - Formula One champion in 1981, ‘83 and ‘87 - is being forced to undergo an intensive driving course after losing his license because of an accumulation of speeding and parking tickets.

Biffle fined for skipping post-race interview

Greg Biffle was fined $5,000 and put on probation until Dec. 31 for skipping a press-box interview following his second-place finish in the Kroger 200 Busch Series race at O’Reilly Raceway Park last week.

Biffle said Wednesday that he talked to reporters on pit road after the race Saturday night but avoided the press box because of the huge crowd.
