As the teams test in Daytona, NASCAR Scene takes a look back at the biggest news, victories and losses in 2007.

Erik Darnell in the No. 99 Roush Fenway Racing Ford was the fastest driver in the morning session of NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series testing at Daytona International Speedway with a lap of 178.547 mph. Former NASCAR Camping World Series, West champion, Scott Lynch was second quickest in the No. 29A Dodge (178.327 mph). Last season’s Truck Series championship runner-up Mike Skinner (177.792 mph), Justin Marks (177.134 mph) and Stacy Compton (176.828 mph) rounded out the top five.

With a better feel for the COT and more time with his crew chief, Greg Biffle is looking to return to title contention in ‘08, says Rea White.

Truck testing began Friday at Daytona, and Larry McReynolds says the Toyota engines are the focus of the three-day session.
