Posted by on May 10th, 2008Ricky Stenhouse Jr. raced to his first ARCA RE/MAX Series victory, taking the lead after a late restart and holding off Scott Speed by 0.374 seconds Saturday night in the Kentucky 150.
Stenhouse, driving a Ford for Roush Fenway Racing, passed Speed’s Toyota on the 107th lap in the 112-lap race on the 1 1/4-mile Kentucky Speedway.
Ryan Fischer was third, followed by Ken Butler III, John Wes Townley, Brett Hudson, Patrick Sheltra, Bryan Silas, Michael Annett and Dominick Casola.

Kyle Busch won the battle of attrition Saturday night as NASCAR’s least popular driver overcame a pit-road penalty and several scrapes with the wall to win at Darlington Raceway.

The pragmatist in NASCAR’s chief spokesman is certain why it shouldn’t.
Seemingly ever since the Southern 500 left this country track for California Speedway on Labor Day weekend after 2004, whispers have abounded about a triumphant return to South Carolina where the race was run for 54 years.
Hunter doesn’t expect more changes.
